About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our partner companies building products where the model is the differentiator: recommendation, computer vision, fraud, forecasting, speech, and fine-tuned language models. Unlike our AI Engineer role (which builds on top of foundation models), this role trains and serves models. You'll own the full lifecycle from data and training to serving, monitoring, and retraining.
What You'll Do
- Train and evaluate models with PyTorch, scikit-learn, or XGBoost
- Build training and inference pipelines that run reliably in production
- Fine-tune open models (Llama, Mistral, Whisper, CLIP) for product use cases
- Serve models with low latency (TorchServe, Triton, vLLM, FastAPI)
- Monitor drift and model quality and automate retraining
- Collaborate with data engineers and product teams on requirements
Requirements
- 4+ years of ML engineering with models deployed in production
- Strong Python and PyTorch (or TensorFlow) skills
- Experience with feature engineering, evaluation, and experiment tracking (MLflow, W&B)
- Experience serving models at scale on GPUs or cloud ML platforms
- Solid software engineering fundamentals: testing, CI, containers
- Excellent written and verbal English (B2+)
Nice to Have
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, RLHF) and evaluation
- Experience with computer vision or speech models
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Ray, or distributed training
- Publications or open-source ML contributions
