Data Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our partner companies building reliable, scalable data infrastructure. You'll design ETL/ELT pipelines, model data warehouses, and ensure teams across the organization have access to clean, timely data. As companies accelerate AI adoption, strong data engineering is the foundation everything else depends on. This role is perfect for engineers who love turning messy, distributed data into structured, queryable assets.

What You'll Do

• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing
• Model and maintain data warehouses and lakehouses
• Build and optimize data transformations using dbt or similar frameworks
• Ensure data quality, observability, and lineage across pipelines
• Collaborate with analytics, ML, and product teams on data needs
• Manage and optimize cloud data infrastructure costs

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Proficiency with Python and data processing frameworks (Spark, Airflow, dbt)
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
• Knowledge of data modeling, quality frameworks, and observability
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+)

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming data (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink)
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance (GDPR, SOC2)
• Experience preparing data for ML/AI workloads
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Dagster, Prefect)
