Full Stack AI Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer to join our partner companies building AI-native products. This role combines traditional full-stack development with deep AI integration skills. You'll build the complete stack: React frontends with streaming AI responses, backend APIs orchestrating LLM calls, and the data layer connecting it all. Unlike a pure AI Engineer, you own the entire product experience. Unlike a pure Full Stack Engineer, AI is a first-class part of every feature you build.

What You'll Do

• Build full-stack AI-powered features from UI to LLM integration
• Implement streaming AI interfaces with real-time responses
• Design backend APIs that orchestrate LLM calls, caching, and fallbacks
• Build AI-augmented workflows: search, recommendations, content generation
• Implement authentication, rate limiting, and usage tracking for AI features
• Optimize end-to-end latency from user input to AI response

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong React/Next.js and Node.js or Python backend skills
• 2+ years integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into products
• Experience with streaming responses (SSE, WebSockets) for AI interfaces
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, caching strategies, and cost optimization
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI SDK (Vercel AI SDK, LangChain.js)
• Knowledge of vector databases for semantic search features
• Experience building chat interfaces, copilots, or AI assistants
• Background in both TypeScript and Python
