About the Role
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead teams at our partner companies. You'll be responsible for building and mentoring engineering teams, driving technical strategy, and ensuring successful product delivery. This role balances people management with technical leadership, requiring both strong interpersonal skills and deep technical understanding.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers
- Drive engineering excellence and best practices
- Partner with product managers on roadmap planning
- Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development
- Remove blockers and optimize team productivity
- Participate in hiring and building the engineering team
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- 5+ years of hands-on software development background
- Experience leading teams of 5-10 engineers
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Track record of shipping products on time
- Excellent English communication skills (B2+)
Nice to Have
- Experience managing remote or distributed teams
- Background in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience scaling teams during growth phases
- Technical background in relevant technologies
