About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Vue Engineer to join our partner companies building SaaS products, storefronts, and internal tools on Vue. Vue teams tend to be small and ship quickly, so this role carries real ownership: you'll shape the component architecture, decide what belongs in a composable, and keep the app fast as features pile up.
What You'll Do
- Build product features with Vue 3, the Composition API, and TypeScript
- Structure state with Pinia and share logic through composables
- Build server-rendered and statically generated pages with Nuxt
- Own frontend performance: hydration cost, bundle splitting, image handling
- Write component and end-to-end tests with Vitest and Playwright
- Partner with designers on a component library that stays consistent
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend development, 3+ with Vue in production
- Strong Composition API and TypeScript skills
- Experience with Pinia or Vuex and with Vue Router
- Production experience with Nuxt or another SSR setup
- Solid CSS, including a utility framework such as Tailwind
- Excellent written and verbal English (B2+)
Nice to Have
- Experience migrating from Vue 2 and the Options API
- Familiarity with Vite plugins and build tuning
- Experience with headless commerce or CMS integrations
- Contributions to the Vue ecosystem
