About the Role
We're seeking a Cloud Architect for our partner companies at the stage where ad-hoc AWS decisions start to hurt: multiple accounts, compliance questions, a bill nobody can explain, and a migration on the table. You'll set the target architecture and then help build it, because this role stays hands-on rather than producing diagrams for somebody else to implement.
What You'll Do
- Design multi-account AWS architecture, networking, and identity
- Lead migrations to AWS or between AWS services
- Set standards for infrastructure as code and enforce them in CI
- Own cost visibility and drive down spend without hurting reliability
- Advise teams on service selection and data-flow design
- Document decisions so the next engineer can follow the reasoning
Requirements
- 7+ years in infrastructure, with several designing AWS architectures
- Deep knowledge of VPC design, IAM, and account organization
- Strong Terraform skills across multiple environments
- Experience with at least one large migration or re-platforming
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or HIPAA
- Excellent written and verbal English (B2+)
Nice to Have
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
- Experience with serverless-first architectures
- Experience with data platforms on AWS
- Exposure to GCP or Azure for comparison
