About the Role
We're looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to join our partner companies shipping to iOS and Android from a single codebase. You'll own the app end to end: architecture, native modules when the bridge is not enough, release pipelines, and the performance work that separates an app that feels native from one that does not.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship features with React Native and TypeScript
- Manage releases through Expo EAS or bare workflow pipelines
- Write or integrate native modules when a feature needs platform APIs
- Own performance: list rendering, bridge traffic, startup time, bundle size
- Handle offline state, background sync, and push notifications
- Work with designers on interfaces that respect both platforms
Requirements
- 5+ years of mobile or frontend development, 3+ with React Native
- Apps shipped to both the App Store and Google Play
- Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals
- Experience with navigation, state management, and offline storage
- Experience with mobile CI/CD and over-the-air updates
- Excellent written and verbal English (B2+)
Nice to Have
- Native Swift or Kotlin experience for bridging work
- Experience with the new architecture: Fabric, TurboModules
- Experience with in-app purchases or payments
- Experience with Detox or Maestro end-to-end testing
