Mobile Engineer (React Native / Flutter)

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our partner companies building polished, performant mobile experiences. You'll work with React Native or Flutter to ship cross-platform apps used by thousands of users. This role requires a strong eye for UX, deep understanding of mobile platform constraints, and the ability to deliver smooth, responsive interfaces. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers and designers to create mobile products users love.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications (React Native or Flutter)
• Implement pixel-perfect UIs from design specs with smooth animations
• Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs and manage local state
• Optimize app performance, startup time, and memory usage
• Handle app store submissions, releases, and over-the-air updates
• Write unit and integration tests for mobile components

Requirements

• 4+ years of mobile development experience
• Strong proficiency with React Native or Flutter (one primary, exposure to both ideal)
• Deep understanding of iOS and Android platform conventions
• Experience with mobile state management (Redux, Riverpod, MobX)
• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, EAS, Codemagic)
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+)

Nice to Have

• Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development
• Knowledge of push notifications, deep linking, and offline-first patterns
• Experience with mobile analytics and crash reporting (Firebase, Sentry)
• Background in app store optimization (ASO)
