1.What happens to your recording
When you take a Ruzora video interview, you record short answers to a few questions in your browser. AI analyses each answer. Your video is transcribed automatically, and both the transcript and the audio are reviewed by AI before a person at Ruzora reads the result.
Your recording goes only to the Ruzora team and the company you are applying to. It is never used for marketing.
2.What the AI evaluates
- the technical depth and structure of your answers
- your spoken English, against the public CEFR scale
- how clearly you would be understood on a call
- speech timing (pace and pauses), and whether an answer sounds spoken rather than read aloud
3.What it never does
- judge your personality, emotions, confidence, or character from how your voice sounds
- create a voiceprint, or anything that could identify you in a future recording
- hold your accent against you
4.A person makes every decision
The AI produces scores and notes. It does not accept or reject anyone. A person at Ruzora reviews every result before any decision is made about you, and whether you are put forward to a company is always a human call.
5.Who processes your recording
These service providers handle your interview on our instructions and for no other purpose:
- OpenAI — speech-to-text: turns the audio of your answers into a transcript.
- Google (Gemini) — audio analysis: your spoken-English level, how easy you are to understand, and speaking pace.
- Anthropic (Claude) — grades the content of your answers against the question’s rubric.
- Cloudflare R2 — stores the recording.
The full list of providers we use across Ruzora is in our Privacy Policy.
6.Improving our vetting models (optional)
Separately from the interview itself, we may ask whether Ruzora can use your interview to improve its vetting models. This is a separate, optional checkbox that starts unticked.
- We use your interview this way only if you tick that box.
- It is never shared outside Ruzora and never sold.
- You can withdraw at any time by replying to the email that brought you to the interview, or by writing to talent@ruzora.com. Once you withdraw, your interview is removed from the set we train on.
- Saying no, or withdrawing later, never affects how you are evaluated. Your scores are produced the same way either way.
Our earlier promise still holds: any interview recorded without this opt-in, including every interview recorded before it existed, is never used to train AI models.
7.Deleting your recording
You can ask us to delete your recording, and every copy of it, at any time. Reply to the email that brought you to the interview, or write to talent@ruzora.com. We delete it within 30 days of your request.
